6. Reducing Sickness Absences

6.1 Create a good working environment.

• Invest in ergonomically sound furniture, lighting and equipment.
• Enforce health and safety standards (see Health and safety).
• Encourage teamwork, contact between people and positive motivation.

6.2 Move sick or injured employees to other duties not affected by their condition.
