IT Jargon Explained J
Java Not to be confused with JavaScript. Java is a high-level
object-oriented platform independent programming language developed by Sun Microsystems
to support widespread software distribution, in particular over the Web. Java
is a more compact & secure version of the C++ programming language upon
which its "look and feel" are based.
JavaScript is a special programming language used in creating more sophisticated
or enhanced Web pages - for example with animated graphics or built-in spreadsheets.
JIT A method of reducing stock holdings by having the necessary amount of materials arriving 'just-in-time' for production.
