British Firms have until February 29th to contend for 'Best UK Business' in the Manufacturing Excellence Awards 2008
Run by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers the Manufacturing Excellence Awards scheme has been key in rewarding excellence & identifying best practice in manufacturing for the last 25 years.
The MX awards scheme is a showcase for the country's best manufacturers and every business that enters MX 2008 receives a free benchmarking report (upon completion of a self-assessment audit)
There are a number of categories to enter including process innovation amd sustainable development with an Overall Winner/Best SME.
In addition MX finalists often receive media coverage and have been seen in such notable publications as The Times, The Financial Times and the BBC's Radio 4 "Today" programme and Breakfast News.
