How easy is it for employers to file their end-of-year returns? Easy. Do it online.
Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs (HMRC) have produced a new video podcast to show employers just how easy it is to file end-of-year returns online.
The short film, viewable online or downloadable to your iPod, shows the main features of HMRC's PAYE system online, taking viewers through the registration system and showing how to file returns online.
Don Macarthur of HMRC said:
"Online filing is quick, secure and easy to use. Employers with fewer than 50 employees who file their end-of-year returns online also receive a £100 tax-free payment this year. So if you're a small employer, download the podcast now and see how easy it is to file online and get yourself a £100 bonus."
