Small Business News

- 10th May 2008

Whilst some people are watching The Apprentice on TV, others are already running their small business from the bedroom.

Tim Campbell - The ApprenticeThis is particularly relevant for the nations's teenage entrepreneurs who, on average, are earning between £100 and £200 a month online.

Amazon and eBay are good places to make earnings and selling ad & sponsorship space in forums also nets a fair amount of cash too.

But what do budding "teenpreneurs" do to make the leap from hobby to serious small business?

Tim Campbell, Sir Alan Sugar's first protegé in The Apprentice, will be answering questions in a webchat next Tuesday 20th May at 12:30pm and young entrepreneurs are invited to join in and ask Tim for tips & advice on "how to start your own business".

Tim is also lending his support to the Virgin Media Sparks campaign, a competition which gives business-minded youngsters the chance to pitch their best online business idea for a chance of winning a small capital injection into their venture and receiving a laptop and mentoring from Tim Campbell.
