The Drum Awards for the Digital Industries (Dadis), set up to recognise small firms with effective online campaigns, are calling for entries.
The Dadis recognise a variety of digital work by marketing and advertising agencies, their clients, as well as in-house staff working to promote their business.
Applications must be made online and need to feature a web campaign which must have been live between 10 June 2011 to 1 June 2012. Sites that have been turned off or are not yet published must be available as screen grabs or other images.
Entries need to be received by 1 June and cost €157 + VAT, with discounts available for entries in more than one category and for not-for-profit or charity sites/campaigns.
Awards are also offered for innovative use of search engine marketing, SEO, social media and affiliate marketing.
2010 winner Mark Pearce, director of Sheffield-based small marketing firm The Workshop, said:
“Winning the best public sector website Dadi award 2010 for diploma-support.org stands out as one of our proudest moments of last year. To get that national recognition for one of our web products and the hard work of our development team meant a lot.”
“Entering awards like the Dadis matters, because what’s at stake is the reassurance that you’ve done a good job from peers and the wider industry.”
The finalists will be announced in early August, with the award ceremony taking place on 8 November in London.
