Innovative and sustainable small firms have until the end of May to compete for six £2,000 prizes in the Nectar Business Small Business Awards.
Any start-up or small business that can demonstrate an innovative and sustainable business idea is eligible to enter the awards. There are six categories:
Applicants are required to submit details about their funding, ownership and financial projections, as well as explaining what makes their business stand out, how they have achieved their targets, and what their objectives are. In addition to the cash prizes, winners will receive 50,000 Nectar points.
Last year’s winner of the Nectar Business Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Lisa Irlam of Swimovate, said:
“Winning the Nectar Business Small Business Award has really impressed our distributors and boosted our credibility as a business. We’ve included the award in our marketing worldwide as it demonstrates that we have turned an innovative idea into a successful product.”
The deadline for entries is 31st May 2012.
